Many people are spreading different myths, on the web, regarding various things that you can or cant do on facebook. In this article we'll try to search for the truth.

1. Will facebook ever turn into a paied service?
No! Facebook will always be free to use for everyone.

2. Is facebook selling our personal information? 
What you share on facebook is your choice, and whom you share to is entirely your choice.

3. Is there a app/option that shows who is viewing my profile or how many times is viewed?
Facebook doesn't offer such a feature, and there isn't any other app that does it.

4. Does the advertisers have access to our personal information? 
Short answer NO. However globally anonymous data is shared to the advertisers, so they can target the ads more precisely.

5. What personal information is shared with sites that use social plugins? 
No personal information is shared with the sites that use facebook social plugins. They only dedicate part of their site to the facebook plugin, but they don't receive any info.

6. Facebook will go into email business in the future? 
Mark Zuckerberg recently dismissed such claims, and declared that the company is not working on an email client

7. Facebook will launch a Music Company?
This one is not yet confirmed or infirmed. So everything is still in the fog, regarding facebook and a music project.

8. Chances of catching a sexually transmitted disease is increased if you are a active facebook user?
This one falls in the funny categorie. A UK doctor claims he noticed a increas of STDs and the patients claimed that they have hooked up on social networks. So this one is TRUE.
9. Using Facebook leads to divorce?
Another doctor from UK states that after he conducted a study, he found that 20 percents of the divorces in 2009 had Facebook as a contributing factor to their domestic unhappiness. 

10. Can you make your Facebook page totally private?
Don't get fooled... You cant make everything on your profile private. You can restrict acces to manny things, but there are some that are still public, like: your name, profile photo, list of friends and pages you are a fan of, gender, geographic region, and networks you belong to. If you don't like this than delete your account, and you will get your privacy :).
